 The Queens picked up their spatulas and headed west in November - to Truckee, CA and the Cedar House Hotel and Stella Restaurant in support of Project MANA and Los Médicos Voladores (the flying doctors). What a great group of folks we had to partake in the Appeteezers and holiday desserts that were presented for the participants gastronomic delight - If I must say so myself, everything was nibble-icious!
Special thanks: to Jeff and Patty Baird for sharing their beautiful Stella kitchen - what a treat!, to Mark Estee for his generous support, to Bennett, who was “Johnny on the spot” … and to the guests for the evening - Thank You! The Queen’s were also fortunate to be part of a fabulous Spanish inspired luncheon for the Ladies of the Knight - an amazing group of women. Our hostess, Margaret Lewicki, was (as always) so very gracious in allowing us full access to her “to die for” kitchen. Thank you Margaret, Stephanie and the Ladies - we look forward to seeing you in the kitchen again soon! |
